Eagle Eye!

Kayden took this picture near a deer roadkill!  As the van aproached we realized we had scared several eagles!  We waited patiently as the Eagles eventually swooped close enought for Kayden to capture this masterpiece! 

Spring Magic!

This early spring has been quite an experience for the Northwest Passage I photographers out at Crex Meadows wildlife Area.  The enormous amounts of Sandhill Cranes, Swans, Geese, and ducks have created a young photographers dream!  Enjoy some of our favorites!

Valentine's Day at Cascade Falls

They crew and I spent Valentine's Day on a photo trip to Cascade Falls and Interstate Park.  What a day to remember!  The power and and beauty of Cascade Falls, and the long views from the bluffs of Interstate Park, were enough to take our breaths away!  We can't wait to return in the spring!

Exceeding Expectations!

As week 4 of our In a New Light photography expedition comes to an end, I couldn't be happier with the amount of enthusiasm and dedication I have witnessed from the residents at Northwest Passage I. 

The first 8 crew photographers include:  Ben F, Jade E, Brad S, Austin B, Jason W, Chris R, Dawson K, and Jordan B.

Our goal as a team has been to expore the wilderness and find as much wildlife and unique scenery as possible in a setting composed of winter colors.  The amount of wildlife we have been able to capture in photos in this short time astonishes me.  I look forward to our final two weeks with this crew!  Enjoy!
